I enjoyed a lot to revise the topic about infinitives because of the fact that I didn`t know all the uses and structures that it has and it bring us the oppotunity to remember the topic best than the other times, for example I didn`t know that before it you can use adjectives or certain verbs (hate, like, need). It also show purpose. We also saw some ways to negotiate, refuse or ask contracts and to like I`m afraid, may be it would be better, that`s fine, idon`t know about that, etc

In this week the thing that I really enjoyed was the debate about “money is the only measure of success” which was brought by Itxel and it had to include some words whit arguments either for or against like We all know that, I’m sure you must agree that, etc with the purpose of persuade the people`s opinion.I think it help us a lot in order to have an improvement on our speaking. We also saw other very important topic: modal verbs of obligation and vocabulary. For obligation, necessity or prohibition: have to, must not, need to and need. For lack of obligation or necessity: need not or don`t have toFor advice or recommendation: ought to, shouldn`t*vocabulary.Showing sequence or order: firstly, then finally.Introducing new information: and, also, what`s more.Linking cause and effect: therefore, because, so, as, in order to.Exemplifying a point: for example, let`s say, you see.All of them help us to structure and clarify ideas.

Since my point of view the topic called reported speech is very interesting and funny for me due to that it is a kind of gossip-mongers people in which you go and tell the things that a person told to sb else.

Also it is very important to know that the email is consider for American people like less intrusive that a phone call, less trouble that using a fax machine, leads to a more democartic structure. It should be brief, contain clues to the content of the message and put urgent in the subject line if you know the person receives a lot of email or if time is limited.

It is important too remember the vocabulary that we saw in order not to get in troubles in this exam like happened in the last. For example, we checked some synonims:
  • For process we can use deal with,
  • For transmitted we can use dispatched,
  • For overwhelming we can use overpowering,
  • For with-coller we can use office worker,
  • For intrusive we can use disturbing ,
  • For convenient way we can use practical, and finally
  • For reportedly spends we can use is said to spend.

On the glossary we saw some words like:

deluge large flood

overwhelming too large to deal with

culprit person guilty of a crime

junkie addict

Whom ever it may concern,
Regarding to the question of sellin or not selling the chocolate factory I suggest you not to sell it, so I give you some reasons bellow.
Surely you can see that the town is very visited by tourist due to it is consider the chocolate town which provoque a magic image.
Whit respect to the expandition of the scholl, do not you think that the interest generated by Hershey's $5.6 bn gift is enough to finance the school?
I am sure you most agree that most of the people who are part of the trust are not from the country, so they do not know the real feeling and they do not undertstand that we are protecting a way of life and for us that is good, not as you say.
Please, take in consideration that if you sell the chocolate factory many people will be dismissed and it will cause an economic desaster.
We all know that Milton Hershey would never have sold it. Also, you are given motives without proofs.
Your sincerelly.
