I´ve enjoyed a lot your classes. In fact when I knew that you could be my teacher I got really excited and a friend of mine wanted to be with you, too.
I wanted to be with you because I think that you bring us the opportunity to improve our speaking and our pronunciation.
Other thing which is fantastic is that you speak clearer that I expected.
I´m studying English at UPIICSA which is a school related to IPN, I´m in advance 1 for the second time because of the fact that the second exam is a simulation of the First Certificate Exam (FCE).
I´m thanked with you for all the patience you have had with us, but I´d like you to be more concerned in the free time we sometimes have.
With respect to the blog, it´s a good idea to bring the homework and in this way you don´t waste paper.
In this week the thing that I really enjoyed was the debate about “money is the only measure of success” which was brought by Itxel and it had to include some words whit arguments either for or against like We all know that, I’m sure you must agree that, etc with the purpose of persuade the people`s opinion.
I think it help us a lot in order to have an improvement on our speaking.
We also saw other very important topic: modal verbs of obligation and vocabulary.
For obligation, necessity or prohibition: have to, must not, need to and need.
For lack of obligation or necessity: need not or don`t have to
For advice or recommendation: ought to, shouldn`t
*vocabulary.
Showing sequence or order: firstly, then finally.
Introducing new information: and, also, what`s more.
Linking cause and effect: therefore, because, so, as, in order to.
Exemplifying a point: for example, let`s say, you see.
All of them help us to structure and clarify ideas.
I enjoyed a lot to revise the topic about infinitives because of the fact that I didn`t know all the uses and structures that it has and it bring us the oppotunity to remember the topic best than the other times, for example I didn`t know that before it you can use adjectives or certain verbs (hate, like, need). It also show purpose.
We also saw some ways to negotiate, refuse or ask contracts and to like I`m afraid, may be it would be better, that`s fine, idon`t know about that, etc
